Concept prototype. The app is not a live service, and every screen here is illustrative. The pilot list is real: join it and we write to you once, when a cohort opens.

Questions

The things a careful person asks.

Is the AI writing the prayers and scripture?

No. Humans write every session. The scripture, the reflection, the prayer, the journal prompt. The AI only selects among author-approved options and writes bounded connective prose in framing slots that are structurally incapable of carrying doctrine. It never writes theology, never addresses crisis, and never sees your journal.

Is Selah Catholic, Protestant, or something else?

The open segment we serve is Protestant and non-denominational. The formation-serious person Hallow (Catholic by design) leaves out. You set your own lenses, and every session declares which shaped it. No lens ever alters the text of scripture.

Who can read my journal?

Only you. Journals are field-level encrypted with a KMS master key. There is no plaintext column. Backups, replicas, logs, and admin tools see ciphertext only. Journal content is never sent to the model, the audio provider, analytics, or your church leader.

Is there a mobile app?

Selah is a mobile-first PWA. It installs to your home screen and works offline for today's and the next two sessions. Native wrappers come later, only if earned. Audio at launch is high-quality synthesized voice, stated honestly.

What if I miss a day? Does it guilt me?

Never. There are no streaks to break. A missed day is met with grace. No "we miss you" notification, no red badge, no broken-chain scold. The weekly look-back names what was, gently.

How much does it cost?

Free gives you one full session a week. Selah Plus is $49 a year or $6.99 a month. Churches and groups are $199–499 a year by size. Cancel in two taps; you keep your journal, your lenses, and your weekly session.

What happens after I join the pilot list?

You get one confirmation email straight away, and then nothing until a cohort opens. At that point we write once with how to begin. If you would rather we forgot you, reply with the word "remove" and your entry is deleted the same day.

Is anything on this site live yet?

The site is real and the pilot list is real. The app itself is a concept prototype: the screens shown here are genuine, but no cohort has started and there are no partner churches. We will not invent numbers to look further along than we are.
